SMS Messaging Policy

Program description
ClassToo is a studio management platform used by independent fitness, dance, martial arts, and enrichment studios. ClassToo sends transactional SMS notifications to enrolled families and studio staff on behalf of studios that subscribe to the SMS add-on feature. Messages are sent using a shared short-code or 10DLC registered long-code phone number on behalf of the studio.
How opt-in works
SMS consent is collected at the time of student enrollment. When a parent or adult student completes an enrollment form through their studio's ClassToo portal, they are presented with an explicit opt-in checkbox:
Submitting the enrollment form with this box checked constitutes express written consent to receive SMS messages. Consent is recorded and stored alongside the enrollment record. Checking this box is optional — families who decline will not receive SMS notifications.
Message types
ClassToo sends the following categories of SMS messages on behalf of studios:
- Class reminders — upcoming class schedule reminders sent before a scheduled session
- Attendance notifications — alerts when a student is marked absent from class
- Studio announcements — general communications from the studio to enrolled families
- Staff notifications — schedule reminders and updates sent to studio instructors and staff
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by studio and depends on class schedule and studio activity. Most families receive between 2–8 messages per month. You will only receive messages for classes and studios you are actively enrolled in.

How to opt out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. You may also update your SMS preference by contacting your studio directly or through your ClassToo parent portal.
To re-enroll after opting out, reply START to any message from the same number.

Supported carriers
ClassToo SMS messages are supported by major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carrier support may vary.
Privacy
